I remember those drunken office parties! Nowadays our boss has an inviolable "no alcohol in the office or at company functions" policy, so no one had an excuse for embarassing behavior!
One of the best office Christmas party scenes ever was in the movie "Desk Set" (a great movie all around).

Yes you must not wear Beer Goggles to the office party. Best to keep the Martini Monocles in your drawers too. :) Happy Christmas
