When you're settled in tonight waiting for Santa, why not do it in style? Nothing feels more glamorous than a vintage lounge robe from the 1940s. If you've got one hiding in your closet, tonight is the perfect opportunity to pull it out and let yourself be the star that rivals the one atop the Christmas tree.

Lovely, but without cigarette in todays world!
I'll take the pink Caven please not only beautiful but essential for my chilly victorian house.
Have a lovely christmas
I have never looked that glam at home, evah!
I want to make a really warm, but glamorous robe to replace my sad, boring bathrobe. I'm trying to get a handle on what elements make a robe or house dress vs. a regular ol' dress...full length for sure, but what else...fabric? Thoughts? Thanks for all your great and beautiful posts!!!
Aimee, I'd go with something warm and fuzzy. If you want it to be washable, then heavy flannel or terrycloth would work. Wool or cashmere would be luxurious and warm but will require dry cleaning and you'd probably want to line them.
