New at Couture Allure - Vintage Coats and Party Dresses

I spent much of this week on the road in search of special vintage to bring to the site.  Was I successful?  You bet!  Did I get rained on?  You bet! Did I slog through mud and puddles?  You bet!  But that's OK because you are in for some wonderful vintage treats over the next few weeks.  Be sure to stay tuned and check our What's New page often to see the latest listings!

1940s princess coat with Persian lamb capelet collar.

1950s leather swing coat with spotted fur pockets.

1960s silk cocktail dress with mylar, rhinestones and beads.

1940s peplum top and skirt completely covered in beads.

I have a black wool coat with persian lamb collar similar to the one you have shown. I love it and wear it a lot.
Mine is an Elie Wass. The collar and flair aren't as big on mine. When the dog and I take out walks, we look grand. I hope someone great buys that coat.

Does the capelet on that black coat double as a chic half hood? Looks long enough! Do you have any more photos of it?

No, the capelet could not be turned up and into a hood. The coat actually sold quite awhile ago and is not longer on my website. Sorry!
