Chloe Dress, 1975

This image caused quite a stir when I posted it on my Facebook page last night.  Helmut Newton shot this photo in 1975.  The jersey dress is by Karl Lagerfeld for Chloe.  The shoes are by Charles Jourdan.  The model is not stick thin.  In fact, her curves only enhance the drape of the garment.  Stunning.

My gosh, what a figure! She looks absolutely stunning - that dress is made to show off the physique of women like that. I agree she is not stick thin, which is so refreshing to see (and she is also older than 15, also very refreshing) but I notice she has absolutely noooo cellulite. Damn!

OMG - phenomenal!!! Who is it? At first glance, I thought it might be Marilyn Monroe, but then I read about the date when it was shot. I think the photo is stunning as is that woman's body. Seriously, I think it may be the perfect backside!

Very daring dress to wear, but with her figure, she pulls it off perfectly!

Love it. She looks gorgeous. And I'd wear it in a heartbeat (perhaps with a less enthusiastic crowd reaction, LOL).

OMG what a vision of attitude, grace and style, proving you don't have to be a size 0 to wear couture. Even in 2012, this is what I call a 'traffic stopper' look.

Love it. I was once told I was to fat to cocktail at a bar. Im 5'1'' and 105 pounds. Its sad that our perception of womens body is distorted.
