The 1970s were the heyday of wild and crazy prints. We wore them and we loved them! And if we were brave enough, we even mixed-and-matched them! Let these prints inspire your look today. All from 1970.

Not only do I love, love, love those 70s prints, I collect (and still wear them) today!
Oh, I remember those days and prints! The ones you've shown are actually pretty. I remember some in some really jarring and ugly color combinations.
Those minidresses and tall gladiators are breaking my heart! I want to wear that look NOW.
I, too, am having a love affair with good 70s prints. I have those exact Lanvin dresses saved.

The Feraud dresses are saved in a file here, too. I love those mask prints. Are they supposed to be Kwakiutl inspired? They're very special, I think.
I just did a little investigating. I want to do more. Per Spook--how come I didn't know about him? Thanks, Jody!
Great stuff. And Leonard still does some of the most magnificent prints on the runways today.
