Weekend Eye Candy - Paco Rabanne, 1966

Paco Rabanne stitches colored plastic triangles to a white crepe sleeveless coat for spring 1966.  This work must have all been done by hand.  You can see the little white stitches at the corners of all the plastic pieces.  Incredible!

Wow! From what I see of fashion these days, so much is recycling from prior eras. The 60's were definitely a time when designers were coming up with new ideas, and though it's not my favorite design period, I have to admire the creativity and originality that came out of that decade.
