Ann Margret and Elvis

Can't you just feel the electricity between Ann Margret and Elvis?  This is a publicity still for the movie "Viva Las Vegas."  The two began a widely publicized affair during the filming of the movie, which was a big box office hit in 1964.

I think you'll enjoy this musical number, "What'd I Say?"  There's great dancing and great fashion!

I adore Viva Las Vegas! It's so stylish and fun, and the chemistry between Elvis and Ann-Margret is sizzling.

Ann-Margret's dress in this scene is one of my favorite movie costumes. She and Elvis really stand out from the crowd in that lovely yellow. And how cool is the roulette wheel dance floor?

Another Ann Margret movie with great vintage fashions is TOMMY. It spans from the 40s into the 70s. Ann Margret wears super full skirts in the 40s and 50s, lots of leopard outfits and disco 70s. Lots of wardrobe changes.

That's some pretty impressive thing-shaking by "the girl with the red dress on" without benefit of Spandex. Must have had a wardrobe mistress at the ready with needle and thread!
