How do you take an ordinary striped dress and make it more interesting?  First, have it designed by a master draper like Mme. Gres.  Then make a shelf bust that curves up into tucked cap sleeves.  Finally, in a bit of whimsy, fill the shelf bust with silk flowers.  J'adore!
