I like the long, sleek silhouette of 30s gowns. Can't decide if I want the white Vionnet or the black Patou. Hm...Maybe I should just take both... ;)
The Vionnet. I'm a sucker for a belted dress plus it kind of transcends every era.
If you don't already have a copy of the Horrockses Fashion book, I'm giving one away at the moment on my blog.
Louise.
love the first one want it for my wedding dress
The Vionnet so elegant, and ethereal she looks like an angel.
Usually I adore Vionnet... But not this time! I love Patou's and Shiaparelli's!
The Vionnet is a show stopper. What color?
omg..Absolutely thrilled to find your blog today!
What an inspiration!
Nope the Lelong is the winner for me (though not the belt).
For some reason, I'm really drawn to the Maggy Rouff
I like the Lelong. Looks almost like it could have been shown in the 70s under Halston's name, or in the 80s under Adeline Andre.
The Lucien Lelong looks so modern, I can't help but love it. Agree completely with deang--it's very Halston!
