Friday Fur - Vintage Fox Jacket, 1948
From 1948, Marron Furrier in Paris offered this darling jacket in silver fox fur. I thought at first that this was a capelet, but it looks like those are true sleeves. Interesting how the short length allows you to show off your tiny waist!

Love fox fur, especially the red, but this silver looks fantastic!

That's a really awesome vintage coat. The fur coat was really “the” fashion statement back then. Only the most sophisticated women could pull off the fur coat look and though it looks a bit bulky, their figure is still plenty visible, depending on what dress they were wearing. I think that those women who wear vintage today are those who have a deep sense of style.
