I'm on the run today, my friends! I'm headed to the
Vintage Fashion and Textile Show in Sturbridge this morning and am racing against the clock. Today, I'm going to leave you with some vintage fashion inspiration from 1963. Enjoy!

Double-faced apricot wool fashions a supple coat by Italian designer Forquet.

The Countess of Quintanilla wears Pedro Rodriguez's short evening coat completely covered in embroidery and beads.

A sheath dress with matching coat by Ben Reig in silk/wool blend Alaskine. Hat by Lily Daché.

Whatever happened to sweet little blouses like these from Ship 'n Shore?

Silk chiffon evening gown by Frank Starr. This dress was available in pink coral, blue sky, or mint. Sold for $160.00 at Lord & Taylor (that's $1142.00 in today's dollar).

Don't forget, underneath it all, she wore a supportive bra and girdle. These are by Peter Pan in pale yellow. Not shown, the essential slip.

Have fun at the textile show! Loving that Ben Reig ensemble ...
Love the sheath dress and the gown! So chic and elegant!
Have fun! So the big question is... are you wearing vintage?
You bet! Today I wore a 1950's cotton day dress in a green print with a modern green sweater.
outfit post, please! those images are gorgeous, the ladies were really coiffed; just perfect.
Have a great time at the show! I've only been to one vintage show, but it was absolutely heaven.
By the way, if you get the time and are inclined to do so, would you consider writing a post on wearing vintage in humid and hot environments? I live in Taipei and I've found that my vintage cotton day dresses don't hold up well in this climate, so I've been trying to figure out which vintage fabrics (besides polyester) will, or if I should just stick to wearing vintage reproductions. If you have any tips or advice, they'd be much appreciated.
Nice post!
Now a days lot of designs have arrived in to men & womens fashion style. But one of the key items every men & woman should have is a pair of jeans that flatters your figure and can be dressed up or down.
