Spring 1961 - Pretty Prints and Big, Big Hats

April 1961 - One of the important looks for this season is huge statement hats with wide, wide brims. Here they are paired with dresses in pretty prints.

Those are lovely. A wide brimmed hat makes sense these days to minimize sun damage/skin cancer, too.

Hats. I only have three in my wardrobe that aren't contemporary headgear designed to keep the winter off of my noggin. I need more hats.

I need some hats with brims that large- I would wear them all the time, but I never find ones with big enough brims.
